FAQs

1) What happens once I book tickets online?

Once the payment is made and approved, you will receive 2 emails from our end. One email will be for the receipt of the payment and other email will be for the voucher of the attraction booked. Please do email us on [email protected] if you have any problems accessing email or opening the attachment. If you are a registered member of toursonspot.com, you can also access your vouchers in “My Account” section.

2) Is the booking instant or I have to wait to receive the voucher?

Most of vouchers are generated instantly. However, there are a few attractions that require some time to confirm booking. This is especially in case of attractions that have limited entry or those who don’t have an online booking system. In this case we will mention the time required between booking and confirmation of the services. If we do not get the time/ date slot preferred by you, we will request you to amend the booking. Alternately, we will refund you of the amount booked for the particular service.

3) Are the vouchers actual tickets? Do we need to take printouts of the vouchers?

The vouchers are not actual tickets. They are to be exchanged at the attraction box office counter for actual tickets. It is requisite to take the print out of our confirmation voucher which shall be exchanged at the attraction’s box office/ Ticketing counter.

4) Where do I present the vouchers?

You must provide the original, authentic Toursonspot voucher to the appropriate service provider in order to redeem your attraction ticket. This will be at the attractions box office or the ticketing window. Your reservation cannot be honored or redeemed without presenting a valid Tours on Spot voucher. PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME OPERATORS ACCEPT MOBILE VOUCHERS; IF THIS IS TRUE, YOU WILL SEE A "MOBILE VOUCHER ACCEPTED" ICON ON THE PRODUCT PAGE. For security purposes, when redeeming your Experience Oz voucher, you must present a VALID PHOTO ID and the Tours on Spot voucher. This is for identification purposes and helps us to prevent fraud.

5) What do I do if I don’t receive the voucher on email.

Most tours are confirmed at time of booking or within 72 hours. In some cases, it might take a little longer, especially during holidays or weekends. After 72 hours, please check your "spam" folders because some internet providers might inappropriately filter our emails out of your inbox or please check the status of your booking online. If it is not yet confirmed, please contact us on [email protected] for further assistance.

6) Do I need to carry anything else along with my voucher?

Yes. Please do carry your valid Photo Id proof along with you. Most of the attractions will ask for the photo id to confirm the name on the voucher. Any official identity proof document which has your photo is acceptable. This includes passport, driving license, social registration card, Voter card etc.

7) Changes & Cancellation

Please do check the booking terms and conditions for each attraction before proceeding with the booking. Toursonspot.com is not liable for any refunds for Non Refundable, No Cancellable and non-exchangeable tickets. In case of refundable tickets, you can change or cancel a booking up to 7 days in advance without a fee from Toursonspot.com (this is subject to specific terms and conditions in your attraction ticket booking page. Please go through the same before booking ticket). To change or cancel a booking, view your upcoming bookings by selecting Account from the menu or the home screen in the app. Select the booking you wish to change/cancel and tap Booking Options. On the web, click on Bookings from the account menu to view and change/cancel upcoming tours. Please note that certain tickets like special event, theater/concert and show tickets cannot be changed or cancelled.

8) Is my payment secure?

We use the Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") supported by Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and all other popular browsers. SSL encrypts your personal information such as your password, address and telephone number, and your credit card is available only to you and the credit card companies. We use one of the leading provider of SSL certificates – Comodo SSL. We do not save any of your credit card information in our database They are directly sent to the payment gateway for the transaction.

9) How far in advance the booking should be made?

We will recommend you to book your tickets as early as possible!! The pricing is different for different seasons and the products get updated regularly. If you want to purchase tickets which are beyond the date range kindly email us your requirement at [email protected]

10) Can I book multiple attractions on the same day?

Yes, you can. However, we shall recommend you to check on the distance between multiple attractions. Also please do check on the “ideal time” required to see the attraction. Similarly, also check on the opening and closing time of attraction. We don’t want you to hush hush and miss out on any key experience that the attraction has to offer.

11) What if there is any problem accepting the voucher at the attraction ticket counter?

Don’t worry. You won’t encounter any problem in exchanging your authentic voucher for ticket. Your voucher will contain confirmation number along with emergency contact numbers of the local service provider. We recommend you to call on the number provided on the voucher in case of any emergency. Alternately you can call us on the Toursonspot emergency number provided on the voucher.

12) What happens if the attraction is shut on the day on our visit?

Most of the attractions are open 365 days of the year. If there are any maintenance scheduled, then the same is informed well in advance. You will not be able to book tickets on those dates on our website. We request you to check on the closure schedule mentioned on our website as well as the attraction website before booking the ticket. If the attraction is shut in case of any unforeseen weather condition or events or circumstances which are not in our control (e.g. Riots, Natural disaster etc.) then the refund of the ticket is at sole discretion of the attraction company/ local service provider.

13) Can I amend my reservation?

Please check on the cancellation policy and the “Important Points” section before booking the ticket. You will not be able to amend the reservation if the tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-changeable. In case of refundable tickets, you can change passenger names, tour dates, number of persons however this is not guaranteed. We try our best with our local suppliers to be very flexible and fulfill your request however in some cases that may incur penalties or the need to cancel your booking and make a new one. Please contact us on [email protected] to amend your reservation. In case of last minute changes, we request you to contact directly to our local service provider whose contact numbers have been mentioned in the voucher. They will be able to help you faster on the same.

14) Can I increase the number of travelers?

Yes. You can do so by making a new purchase.

15) How do I review the attraction that I have visited?

After your visit to the attraction, you will receive an email with an invitation to share your feedback about the experience. Click on the button in the email to access the review form where you can give an overall rating, leave a comment about your experience. Please note that your reviews will be checked by us on the back end for content, use of language etc. and then the reviews will be posted.
